Back-end (Node.js) developer

Their procurement platform for the metal parts shows end users and metal parts manufacturers the most striking examples of digital process. Instead of spending many days or weeks on a single order, everyone can fulfill their demands just in a few days and for multiple orders.

Since 2017, our team of professionals has shown that the concept is well received by the market — now they want to make a difference in the entire digital metalworking industry around the world.
To achieve our goals, we are looking for an excellent employee for our engineering team.

Requirements:

● you have 5+ years of experience in the following tech stack: TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Mongo, MySQL, AWS (S3, SQS, RDS etc.), Docker, ORM
● you were at least once responsible for a medium/large scale backend application
● you bring a software engineering background and an entrepreneurial mindset
● you love patterns and complex challenges, you know how to evaluate solutions and how to choose the right one based on experience and clever decision-making
● you are hands-on, reliable and innovative in implementing those solutions
● you can work on your own but you love to share your knowledge and work with the team
● you have upper-intermediate to advanced English level

Would be a plus:

● bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Responsibilities:

● join one of our two engineering squads, specifically focusing on our B2B pipeline - the critical system that processes client requests and converts them into orders
● collaborate across squads to ensure seamless integration between our teams
● own your projects end-to-end with exceptional accountability - we value engineers who proactively identify issues, communicate effectively, and drive solutions forward without waiting to be asked
● architect and build robust backend systems that handle complex workflows and specifications with reliability
● tackle daily challenges of scaling our infrastructure, implementing critical features, and continuously refactoring to improve performance
● help us solve recurring technical challenges including scaling our platform to handle increasing demand, managing complex issues, and implementing feature enhancements that keep us ahead of the competition
