Data Integration engineer

Our customer is a platform for booking hotel rooms for business trips using algorithms that help companies save time, effort, and travel expenses. The platform quickly finds suitable accommodation options based on price, location, and other travel requirements. It also provides access to wholesale hotel rates and centralized booking management through a single user-friendly interface.

‍Requirements:

‍● 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Integration Engineer, or in a similar role
● hands-on experience with BigQuery and MongoDB
● proven ETL/ELT pipeline experience: ingestion, transformation, and scheduling
● REST API integration experience: OAuth, API keys, pagination, rate limits, and webhooks
● solid data modelling and warehouse design fundamentals
● experience working across multiple systems and data sources

‍Would be a Plus:

‍● experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, Dagster, or similar)
● familiarity with Snowflake or Redshift in addition to BigQuery
● experience contributing to data reliability and scalability within an established architecture‍

What you will do:

‍● build and maintain integrations between internal systems and external services
● develop and improve ETL/ELT pipelines and data synchronization workflows
● connect and optimize REST APIs and related data flows
● work with BigQuery and MongoDB within the existing architecture
● support workflow orchestration and automation initiatives
● improve existing solutions, tooling, and processes
● collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to move the roadmap forward‍‍
